An infinity-mirror front with three large cooling fans
LANCOOL 217 INF replaces the wood-accented look with a tempered-glass infinity-mirror front. Two 170mm front fans and one 140mm rear fan are pre-installed. Lighting can be controlled from the case, through motherboard sync, or through L-Connect 3 with a separately sold L-Wireless controller. Selected finish: White.
Infinity lighting with three control paths
M1 controls front-panel lighting and M2 controls fan effects. Motherboard synchronization is also available. For wireless L-Connect 3 control, add an L-Wireless controller; it is not supplied with the case. The built-in rear hub has a wireless receiver but does not support external fan connections.
Do not count the comparison-test bottom fans as included
The factory configuration comprises the two 170mm front fans and the 140mm rear fan. Lian Li added bottom fans for one comparison test; that test setup is not this retail bundle. Optional 120mm fans can be installed above or below the PSU shroud according to the official mounting layouts.
Motherboard and storage layouts interact
ATX and Micro-ATX back-connect boards are supported. A back-connect Micro-ATX installation requires removal of the drive cage behind the motherboard tray. The second HDD cage requires the rotated PSU orientation; two cages interfere with a PSU in the standard layout.
Service access without dismantling the whole build
The top radiator bracket is removable together with the adjacent frame bar, providing access during cooler installation. Front fan filters detach for cleaning. The I/O module can move between top and bottom positions.

LANCOOL 217 INF build questions
Can I use L-Connect 3 immediately without buying a controller?
Wireless software control requires the separately sold L-Wireless controller. The case’s lighting buttons and supported motherboard sync remain alternative control methods.
Is the rear hub an expansion hub for extra case fans?
No. Lian Li explicitly states that the built-in rear hub does not support external fan connections.
