Unlike G7 SE’s membrane face buttons, G7 HE uses microswitch face buttons with clicky feedback. This is a hardware distinction between the models, rather than a software setting. The controller also provides two remappable rear buttons for frequently used actions.

Hall Effect analogue triggers deliver gradual input in compatible games. The official manual also documents a hair-trigger mode for actions where you prefer a quicker digital response. A software/button setting should not be confused with the physical microswitch trigger stops on G7 Pro.

Connect the detachable 3m USB-C cable to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One or Windows 10/11. G7 HE has no battery to charge and is specified for wired use. Windows customization is available through GameSir Nexus.

Four rumble motors are fitted, with one in each grip and trigger. Vibration depends on the game and controller configuration. The 3.5mm audio jack provides a direct headset connection, with supported audio controls explained in the official guide.

GameSir Nexus supports button mapping, stick and trigger tuning and vibration adjustments. Save supported profiles and use the official calibration guide if controls need recalibration.
