Protection and cable storage built for travel
The ADATA HD680 pairs a shock-absorbing silicone exterior with a layered internal structure and impact-sensing indication. Its wraparound cable groove keeps the detachable USB cable with the drive between transfers.
Three layers for knocks on the move
ADATA describes a silicone casing, a sturdy buffer and cushioned mounting. The manufacturer states that the HD680 meets MIL-STD-810G 516.6 testing for falls from up to 1.22 m. This is a specified test claim, not a guarantee against damage or data loss.
A place for the detachable cable
A groove around the housing holds the USB cable when it is not connected. Unplug the cable before wrapping it around the drive.
An indication when an impact is detected
The shock-sensor system provides a red indicator when a physical shock or vibration is detected. Keep the drive stable while reading or writing and safely eject it before disconnecting.
