A 21.3L case that can change orientation
Co-developed with DAN Cases, the B4-mATX accommodates Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX hardware in a compact chassis with horizontal and vertical layouts. Two top-mounted 15mm slim fans are pre-installed. Choose the power supply and cooling layout together: the available space changes with each configuration. Selected finish: White.
Choose the PSU before the radiator
A 360mm or 280mm side radiator requires an SFX power supply; an ATX supply is limited to the 240mm side-radiator layout. The radiator and fan assembly must stay within the manufacturer’s 52mm combined thickness limit. Follow the official layout diagrams, including their outward fan-installation requirement.
GPU thickness changes bottom-fan space
A 2.5-slot card permits 25mm bottom fans, a 3-slot card permits 15mm slim fans, and a card 3.5 slots thick or more leaves no bottom-fan support. Adding the front slim fan reduces maximum GPU length to 343mm and requires an SFX PSU. These limits must be checked together.
Vertical placement needs cable clearance
The integrated rear feet allow vertical use. Allow 52mm for rear connectors and cable routing; long HDMI or DisplayPort plugs may need an adapter. The optional Vertical AeroDeck is sold separately and is not part of this case listing.

Small details that simplify assembly
Removable panels, a removable top fan bracket, cable tie points and a bottom magnetic dust filter provide access for assembly and maintenance. The included GPU anti-sag bracket supports the installed card. The rotatable AC inlet must be positioned before assembly; retain its securing cable tie.

DAN B4-mATX build questions
Does it support a back-connect motherboard?
No. Lian Li’s specification table lists Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX support and explicitly excludes back-connect motherboards.
Can I install a bottom hard drive and a thick GPU together?
A bottom 3.5-inch HDD limits GPU thickness to 65mm and allows only one bottom 120mm fan. With a bottom 2.5-inch SSD, two bottom 120mm fans are supported. This layout also requires the primary PCIe x16 slot to align with the first expansion slot.
Is the glass Vertical AeroDeck included?
No. The Vertical AeroDeck is an optional, separately sold accessory. This listing is for the case and its verified standard configuration.
