01 · Measure
Measure the device you want to use
GameSir specifies a supported device length of 120–215mm. That length range does not by itself guarantee fit around every case, camera bump or device shape. Check the complete device dimensions and grip clearance before ordering, especially when keeping a protective case fitted.
02 · Bluetooth
Bluetooth mobile control without a fixed connector
G8 Plus connects to mobile devices through Bluetooth. Supported platforms described by GameSir include Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch and PC. PC operation supports a USB cable or a compatible wireless dongle; that dongle is sold separately and is not in the listed standard box contents.
03 · Hall
Hall Effect sticks and progressive triggers
Both the sticks and triggers use Hall Effect sensing. The triggers provide analogue travel for compatible games, and the official feature information also describes a selectable hair-trigger mode. Stick and trigger settings should be tuned to the game you play.
04 · Change
Change caps and layout with removable faceplates
Magnetic faceplates provide access for supported stick-cap and ABXY customization. The controller uses membrane ABXY buttons and has two remappable rear buttons. Physical button layout and the logical button values are separate settings; use the official guide when changing them.

Vibration, motion and a secure grip
Dual vibration motors provide feedback in supported games. A six-axis gyroscope supports motion functions where the selected mode and game allow them. Textured grips offer a controller-style hold on either side of the screen, rather than relying only on flat touchscreen input.

Two batteries: close the controller for charging
The total specified battery capacity is 1000mAh, made up of 500mAh on each side. The official manual says to charge with the controller retracted so both batteries charge; when extended, USB-C charges only the right side. No fixed playing-time figure is promised.

GameSir App and native mobile game support
GameSir App supports this model’s customization. On iOS, use games with native controller support; touch mapping is not available on iPhone or iPad according to GameSir. Android mapping has its own setup requirements, and universal compatibility with every mobile game is not promised.

Will G8 Plus fit my phone with its case?
The manufacturer lists a 120–215mm device-length range. Case thickness, camera protrusions and grip clearance still need checking; length alone does not prove fit.
Does it plug into the phone’s USB-C port?
This G8 Plus model uses Bluetooth for mobile connection. Do not confuse it with the built-in connector design of G8 Galileo or G8+ MFi.
Why should I close it before charging?
GameSir’s manual states that both batteries charge when the controller is retracted. When extended, USB-C charges only the right-side battery.
Is a PC wireless dongle included?
No dongle appears in the standard official box list. A compatible G8 Plus dongle is offered separately.
Can it map touch controls on iPhone?
GameSir states that touch mapping is unavailable on iOS. Choose iPhone and iPad games with native controller support.
Does it have a headset port?
No. Connect your audio through the phone, tablet, console or PC.
How does it differ from G8 Galileo or G8+ MFi?
