QHD at up to 320Hz, with three video choices.

The XG27ACMS pairs 27-inch Fast IPS with 2560 × 1440 and a 320Hz overclocked maximum. It targets the intersection of sharper-than-Full-HD imagery and high-frame-rate gaming. Your graphics hardware and game settings determine how much of that headroom you can use.

QHD: 2560 × 1440
320Hz OC: Maximum refresh ceiling
Fast IPS: Display format

USB-C video does not mean laptop-class charging

ASUS lists 320Hz vertical ceilings for HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C video. USB-C power delivery is up to 15W, so many laptops still need their charger. Confirm the output mode supported by the laptop or dock, not merely the presence of a Type-C connector.

Tailor visibility without changing the game engine

Dynamic Crosshair, Dynamic Shadow Boost and AI Visual are built-in viewing aids. ASUS also lists ELMB Sync and aspect control. These change presentation or visibility; they do not increase the frames rendered by the PC.

XG27ACMS buying questions

Does the 320Hz figure need an overclock qualification?

Yes. It is the advertised overclocked maximum and should be selected only with a supported source and monitor configuration.

Is 15W power delivery enough to use one cable for any laptop?

No. Video compatibility and charging requirements are separate. Compare your laptop’s power needs with the 15W ceiling and retain its power adapter when needed.
