Fast Full HD with a USB-C video option.

The XG259CMS combines a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel with a 1920 × 1080 native picture. Its headline 310Hz maximum is overclocked, so it belongs in the context of the connection and settings your PC can actually support.

FHD: 1920 × 1080
310Hz OC: Maximum refresh ceiling
Fast IPS: Display format

USB-C video is useful; 7.5W is a separate limit

DisplayPort and USB-C video have published vertical ceilings of 310Hz, versus 240Hz for HDMI. USB-C supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, but power delivery is only up to 7.5W. Treat it as another video route, not a laptop charging dock.

Control the picture from the desk

ASUS lists DisplayWidget, ELMB Sync, Shadow Boost and aspect control. These offer ways to adjust motion presentation, shadow visibility and the displayed image. A 120mm height-adjustment range and 100 × 100 mm VESA mount support positioning choices.
